"Well-done," Claudius says, rather mild, but sincere. Plain congratulations can't capture how much he admires Lan Wangji, and not simply for the skill it takes to remove a man's hand without harming the hostage in his grasp. (Though of course Claudius has no doubt it was impressive. He's seen how graceful Lan Wangji is with Bischen.)
