Once Lan Wangji finds a room that meets his requirements, he steps inside and then shuts the door behind them. A single touch to the door locks it behind him with a small burst of qi. For good measure, he draws a talisman out of his sleeve and flicks that against the door as well, to ensure that no one will overhear them.
